I wanted to take the time to share my experience with having my mother Ruth, being cared for by Bernadette Home Care.  When my mother first arrived at Bernadette's Board and Care home in Camarillo, she was not exactly in the best of shape both mentally and physically.  My mother was unable to transfer unaided, she was not eating particularly well and would have numerous episodes of agitation at certain intervals, both day and night.  

After approximately three months, my mother improved and stabilized to the point where she was able to walk unaided, had more energy and was property medicated at the correct dosages.  My mother's improved status was so convincing to me I decided to explore the possibility of having her moved to an assisted living facility and ultimately decided to send her to one.  Unfortunately, my mother's status did not allow for her to maintain the necessary independence to remain in an assisted living facility and decided to send her back to Bernadette Home Care as I knew she would be well cared for.  The staff at Bernadette Home Care were always sincere, genuine, and competent.  Decisions on where to place loved ones is never an easy task, however I was fortunate to find my mother's home when she lost her independence.  Thank you again.
